Apraava Energy has emerged as a successful bidder for a new greenfield interstate transmission project in Madhya Pradesh through a tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process conducted by the Government of India
The project entails the establishment of around 40 km of 765 kV double-circuit transmission lines alongside a 3,000 MVA substation. Under the transmission service agreement (TSA), the company will undertake the development of the project following the build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) model, with a stipulated completion timeframe of 24 months from the date of special purpose vehicle (SPV) transfer. The project aims to meet the escalating power demands of the state
Apraava Energy will assume the responsibility for the project's ownership, financing, development, design, engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), commissioning, operation and maintenance (O&M). It will also provide transmission services for 35 years post-commercial operation date (COD)
the company secured two similar greenfield interstate transmission projects in Rajasthan, further contributing to its expanding low-carbon infrastructure endeavours
